Retail Footprints

If you're at all eco-conscious, or simply alive really, you've no doubt heard about ecological footprints and carbon footprints - attempts to quantify how much resources (land, energy, waste generated, etc.) you consume to live the lifestyle you lead, and what it would take for the world to sustain a planet full of people with your consumption habits.  One of my online planning newsletters passed along this, a graphical representation of the land area footprint of some of the biggest well-known retailers.
