Red 40-free Candy Canes!

Well, as life happens to most of us, things got way too busy right before Halloween and I forgot to order my natural candy for the neighborhood kiddos.  I was bummed, as I really wanted to share the artificial dye-free stuff but it just fell through the cracks.  With Thanksgiving this week, I got to thinking about the baking my mom does starting this time of year, it made me think to check naturalcandystore.com to see if they'd gotten in their Red 40-free candy canes, and sure enough they have!  I just ordered 4 boxes, one for M to munch on over the holidays, and the others for my mom to bake with so we don't have to worry about the dye in her awesome peppermint cookies (probably M's favorite cookie last holiday season).  I'll be sure to give a review as soon as they get here.

And I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but they have a new line of organic lollipops (Pure Fun), and I was going to give them a try as we're just about out of the other bag we bought, but they were currently out of stock on the mixed bag, and I didn't want to get just one flavor.  Ah well, it's probably best anyway, as M will be all about the candy canes for the season.  I'll let you know when I get a batch of the new lollipops!
