More football, anyone?
I just entered NBCsports.com's fantasy football challenge. I'd been looking for something else like a free Pick 'Em or something like this to play along with my regular fantasy football league, and it looks like fun. You pick a starting fantasy line up for each week, and accumulate their points, with the top-however many going on to the playoffs and a chance to win $100,000. The trick is that you pick a different team each week, and you can't use a player more than once in the 12-week regular season - you play Brady this week vs. KC, you don't get him the rest of the season. So you're playing match-ups, schedules, and having to deal with injuries, etc. Like this week, Brady should go off against my poor Chiefs, but if they get an early lead they could shut it down since he's been hurt. For my money, I'll take the shoot out that's going to happen out on the left coast this weekend and hope to get my points there. Warner is going to have something to prove to show he should be the starter in Arizona. I'll wait and use Brady once he's 100% healthy and has something to prove to the team he's playing. I'll post my line up later.
