Miscellaneous Wednesday
I got a flu shot yesterday. My company pays for it (I should say my insurance covers it, my company provides them on site), so I went down to the training center and got one. Twenty minute wait, not bad. My arm is still sore and stiff. It's getting better, but damn it sill feels like I've got a knot in my shoulder.
I perused the WE Xangas last night. Haven't done that in a long long time. Haven't blogged there in even longer. The last post there was sometime this past summer, and just before that was exactly a year ago. The post from the end of October conveyed a mood exactly like the one I'm in now. How wild is that? Made me stop and think, about the cycle of things, about life, the seasons. It made me think about what goes on in my life at this time of year that puts me in this mood. I've got some thoughts, and when they coalesce a bit more, I might share.
I told The Divine Miss M (heh, I've never called her that before, but it sure fits) that I was serious about wanting to write book reviews (she's a professional journalist and writer), so she critiqued my review of The Surrogates. She had some terrific advice, and things I can work on and learn, so I'll be applying her critique as I write more. I might even try and rewrite a review of The Surrogates to compare the difference and see if I 'get it'.
That's all for now. And no, I won't always be messing with the fonts *grin*.
