Fantasy Football Week 10 in the books

Well crap.  This was a perfect week for me to gain ground on The Fighting Artichokes and I couldn't do it.  I had matchups with Fried Green Shinobi and Forres Furries, both at the bottom of their respective divisions, while the Artichokes played Merlin's MegaMaulers and Lincoln Square Rag Dolls, both contending for Wildcard spots.  I had the easy matchups and lost both, she had the tough matchups and went 1-1 (and the one she won, over Merlin, she won by only 2 points!).  So, she ends up only pulling ahead one, but I really needed to make up at least one game last week, not lose ground.

Brees did well for me, as did Jones and Muhamid, and Brown did average.  Chester hurt me getting only 9 points (I've been counting on him to get me double-digits), but what really hurt was my Saints D pulling a big goose egg, and Harrison getting only 2 pts.  If I get even average points from them I win at least one of my matches.  As for Shinobi and Furries, they got huge games from unexpecting players.  Shinobi got 40 points from Chad Johnson, and Furries had 6 players score TDs, and a huge game from Favre.  Bah!@

The wildcard race tightens up as well.  There are 3 teams with 11 wins and 2 teams with 9 wins.  All three teams with 11 wins could be vying for Division lead as things go on, but it'll be tough for me and the Rag Dolls.  Artichokes and Ice Cable are each sitting with 15 wins.  Crashaholics on the other hand is only 2 behind Pancreatic Viroids, and that could come down to the wire.  I'll have to see what their matchups look like with 4 weeks left.
